The device supports auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDIX on the copper port, while the SFP slot is compatible with both single-mode and multi-mode fiber modules, allowing network designers to implement long-distance point-to-point or fiber-ring topologies. Transmission distances can reach up to 80km, depending on the SFP module used.
